When Using the AutoRun.MVBA is it possible to set these Item to a specific setting? Jut the way I normally run my Micro-station.
Of course they can all be set manually. Would be handy if it is not a lot of trouble or a big problem, I have searched for an article on this ? but
I failed to find one on these 3 items. be a handy time saver if possible?
You can set these on the command line. Modify the shortcut you use to launch MicroStation by adding:
-WIRJBP_ -WPRjbp -WURJBP
At the end of the Target property.
Kevin, do not want to cause any problem for myself , the following is the shortcut load
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries)\MicroStation\ustation.exe" where or how do I exactly add the
commands -WRRJBP_-WPRJBP-WURJBP Wanted to keep from any errors if possible? Thank You

This is standard Windows command-line syntax. See this article about MicroStation command-line switches. In other words...
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries)\MicroStation\ustation.exe" -WRRJBP_

Experiment using a standard Windows command prompt with something like the Directory (Dir) command, which has lots of options. Since it provides a read-only view of the file system, it's hard to break anything.

The article John linked to has most of it, but I would add that the options should go after the quotes and there should be a space before each -
So:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries)\MicroStation\ustation.exe" -WRRJBP_ -WPRJBP -WURJBP
I had tried the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries)\MicroStation\ustation.exe" /?
Well Microstation never loaded again. When it tried to open it would appear to jump to dos, flash a black screen and then nothing
I tried a bunch of things to get it back, modified the line and remove the /?, WRONG. Reboot the whole maching, WRONG AGAIN
I then removed all short cuts and went int the All Progrmas >Bentley>MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 3)>"C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries)\MicroStation\ustation.exe" double clicked and the same results
Tried using backup to the Program Data restore, WRONG. So finally had to do a complete restore. Drives and Partitions
I was up and running but lost a lot, 7 day old Backup. Any suggestions to a novice?
Try this
C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries)\MicroStation\ustation.exe" -RestoreDefaults
Connect r17 10.17.2.61 self-employed-Unpaid Beta tester for Bentley
At this point, i am afraid to modify anything, the dos window would flash open and after that nothing. I would have to make up the full backup or a backup of that who area. and try a restore. I sure appreciate the tip. I may have saved me from loosing so many days between my drives and partitions backup. So thank you
