I have a question. In working on configurations here and there, I was wondering something. In some cases I have been relegated to using PCF files and not knowing why I just go along the way "they" want. I have had to make my own tweaks in my ucf to get things working right (for me). But I recently had to fix a configuration that was looking for ms_fontpath but it could not be found so Microstation exited. I looked at the users ucf and saw that it had a specific font path set so I commented it out and things worked as expected. BTW, this was happening on a different computer. Anyway, the user (and myself) wonders why his ucf works fine on his computer with the font path uncommented.
Any information is welcome
Thank you
Font path is set elsewhere and not normally in the ucf file. If a user has been 'fiddling' with configs it may have written a path to the ucf file that created the issue. If you have your own location in your build, it might be an idea to lock it in your site configs or project pcf so the user can't edit it.
