Disable Worksets

Is there and EASY way to kill off anything to do with Worksets and anything to do with assigning Worksets\Workspaces to files?

  • The only thing I can think of is to use v8i. I had a similar issue when first using Connect. I hated that the software interrupted me the first time I opened any existing file. I used a batch command to add all files to their appropriate workset. This was easy for me because my worksets directly corresponded to folders.

In the stupid, grasping at straws category, you could try moving all the files in "C:\ProgramData\Bentley\MicroStation CONNECT Edition\Configuration\WorkSpaces\<<workspace name>>\WorkSets". I DID NOT TRY THIS
