CONNECT Advisor is annoying. I don't know what it does, but it persists in loading itself automatically. I've told it not to do that...
The wiki article you linked to says to leave comments at the bottom, but there is no comment box. Also, the link at the bottom of the left hand navigation, the big green box that says:
...takes me to some unrelated page.
The LEARN server only works about 10% of the time we try to load a learning path. I wanted to load CONNECT Advisor to see if it can get us the training matieral any more reliably, but it does not appear to be supported by Power GEOPAK SS10.
Quality control and customer experience at Bentley is a joke. If we weren't locked into being customers by fiat of the state DOT, we would've left a long time ago.
Please forward my comments to whomever needs to hear it.
Have a good day,

That's what made me notice it. I started MicroStation, made a few UI choices, and then MicroStation appears to stop responding. What's happened is that CONNECT Advisor has started, but not immediately and in a separate Windows process, and stolen focus from MicroStation.

I see the same lack of comment box.

Bentley has gone down the wrong road. Their excuse for the ribbon interface was "discoverability." Their reason for the Connect Advisor is "Learn content, Community updates, Youtube videos." This is all great for the person that is poking around and does not know how to use a drafting program. That stuff should be put onto a web page, not into the software.
What we need is a powerful piece of software for our profession staff of draftsmen / draftswomen. They know what they are doing and how to do it. We need a professional software package that allows them to be productive. Training a new person is not what we need here.
