I am developing networked standards for our office, and I plan to do this with a configuration file in the ...Workspace\Standards directory, that will define certain variables and point to other network CFG files.
We do work from time to time with other clients over their ProjectWise networks. I don't want any of my custom machinations to interfere with any of the ProjectWise setup.
Would it make sense, or would it be possible to test for ProjectWise activation? If there is then "do nothing", and if there isn't then set my custom variables? Similar to the way I plan to test for a network (if there isn't go local)? Or is it more involved than that?
Thank you.MaryB
Look in the pw.cfg file that got added to the Microstation config\appl directory it has examples.
in our standards.cfg we check for when projectwise Explorer isn’t running and disable pw integration then.
%if !defined (_PWEXPLORER) PW_DISABLE_INTEGRATION = 1 %endif

I didn't think that the PW.cfg would include an example of what happens when PW is NOT running. Thank you!
