Hello there,
I've got a question about the Ribbon State.
When I make a Ribbon Item invisible, this setting will be stored and remembered in my next Microstation session. (The setting is written in the xml-file that MS_RIBBONPREFS refers to.) This works fine for Ribbon Groups and Ribbon Buttons. However, Ribbon Tabs that I make invisible, will be visible again in the next Microstation session. Is there a way to make Microstation remember which Ribbon Tabs I've made invisible?
Any help would be highly appreciated...
Does that mean that this a Microstation bug that has already been reported?
Defect 1078287 has been filed.
Thank you,
Hyung
Hi Karan & Hyung. Thank you for your reply.
I was actually wondering about the "State" of the Ribbon, not how to customize it.
When I rightclick on a Ribbon Tab, I can turn off the display of Ribbon Tabs. However, in my next Microstation session, these adjustments are gone. (Adjustments to, for for instance Ribbon Buttons ARE saved correctly.)
Is there a way to make Microstation remember state changes of Ribbon Tabs?

Hello,
If I am following you correctly, I guess you have to remember your custom settings in your dgnlib file. You could confirm by looking at the properties of its Source and Visibility. Here attached an image for your reference.
