In order to optimize the licences in use of our organization

RE: [MicroStation CONNECT Ed.
Seems to me this would be a high priority update so that you are not exceeding your IPlot license count and getting quarterly overage billings from Bentley.

RE: [MicroStation CONNECT Ed. But I have very limited access to the workstations itself. My thought was that I can re-configure the behaviour of IPlot. It works very well with other applications.

In the case of IPlot my challenge is the concatenated string value of <MS_DGNAPPS>. From this variable I have to remove the IPlot-part.

RE: [MicroStation CONNECT Ed.
I haven't loaded IPlot in a while, but I think if you replace the delivered C:\Program Files\Bentley\MicroStation CONNECT Edition\MicroStation\config\appl\iplot.cfg file with a modified version that removes the MS_DGNAPPS variable definition, that would work.

Then when you want to run IPlot you key in mdl load iplotn That key in could be put in a custom ribbon icon, or tied to a function key.
