I have noticed that if you change to the General workflow it removes the custom tab that I have set up.
This is Drawing:
And this is General:
How do I get our WS Tools tab to appear in the General workflow?
I am thinking that any customizations that you've designed for your workspace would be within the Drawing workflow but this new General workflow operation might be better explained by Smrutirekha Mahapatra.

Thanks. Had assumed that any customisations would appear in both.
Hi Stuart,
Tabs are specific to a workflow. Any custom tab will display in the Workflow it is added to. For your custom tab to display you will have to add it to the General workflow. Hope this helps.

I don't doubt that you are correct but the reason for the question is that I'm sure that I didn't add WS Tools tab to the Drawing ribbon.
Maybe WS tools is in your personal.dgnlib? It will be coming from a DGNLIB somewhere in your configuration.

It may well be but I don't think so as others users also have the WS Tools tab. How do i tell?
Open Customize Ribbon and hover over the tab in question:
What do I do if I want a tab to show up in every workflow?

I think it should be asked as a new question in a new post.
But anyway: Originally I thought that it can be done only using ribbon xml definition, which is "developers' way" how to customize ribbon.
But it seems that when you create a tab in one workflow, it's displayed in Tabs Component list. From this place it can be added to other workflows and it seems it's still the same tab, because when edited, the changes are visible in all workflows.
But as usually, it should be tested further ;-)
