We are trying to streamline our workflow that alternates using DWG files in Microstation and AutoCAD, any tips or resources?
Thanks-
Tips- Without a bit of forethought this can became a headache. I have some clients who want DWG files delivered back to them. I try to keep those in DWG. On some projects that get more involved I will convert the DWG to DGN. Just depends on your needs. If working in a DGN that I suspect will later need converted back to DWG, I set the configuration variable MS_WORKMODE to DWG, this keeps Microstation from creating things not compatible in Autocad. It's important to know in advance what will be expected at the end of the project.
