We may have to uninstall all of my Bentley software, and I would like to know if there is any particular order things need to be installed
Connection Client
MicroStation SS10
Power Geopak SS10
Power InRoads SS10
ORD 2020 R3
ProjectWise Explorer
Interplot
I suspect that the only two that are "order critical" are PW and iPlot. If they are, could you please let me know how we should approach this?
Thank you.MaryB
The order looks good to me. I agree, the PW and IPlot should be last, and I think any CONNECT versions should be installed after their V8i counterparts.
I don't think you have to worry about a separate CONNECTION Client install as the other products will install it.
If you're installing Power GEOPAK and Power InRoads, you don't need a separate MicroStation installation as MicroStation is included (similar to the way it is in ORD).

In this instance I would say installing the connection client separately is best as the installations come with the version of the client that was available at the time of release. The client is updated more frequently and this would save time if each installer has to update it if the version of the client is has is newer than the other installations.
Also believe that iplot should be after PW installation.
So, does Connection Client come first, last, or in the middle?

First. The installers check to see what current version of the Client is installed and download and update if necessary.
By downloading and installing first this step is bypassed in your proposed order.
