I was asking for the same reason that Rod had mentioned. In our agency the kickoff of the project is not dictated by the designer, and the folks that do don't have the cadd software, but they do know all of the information that would be necessary to populate the properties of a WorkSet.

Could it possible be added to the Connection Client? That would probably be best since Connect Advisor is going to be absorbed into Connection Client in the future.

I haven't seen anything like this. A client pursued having us develop an application like that for them but ultimately decided not to.

Their use case was that they have an office manager create their project folders for them at the start of a new project. They wanted a custom application that would create the folders and create the corresponding ORD WorkSet at the same time. This way it was a one step process, and that person would not need ORD. The way they are operating now is that the office manager creates the project folders, the CAD/Project manager creates the WorkSet in ORD.

Just curious why you are looking for this outside of the product (in this case ORD) ?

I just want to fully understand what you are asking.
