&lt;p&gt;It may also be worth investigating whether their network is using some sort of protocol for multi-user access of the design file over your network.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Thanks for responding so quickly.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Our files are on a local server network, In the same space we&amp;#39;re in.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We&amp;#39;re using MicroStation SS10 v 08.11.09.919 for this particular project.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Operating system is Windows 10 Pro&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Every machine running the program was set up exactly the same way,&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have never seen anything quite like this in all of the setups I&amp;#39;ve done. And I&amp;#39;ve been doing them for over 10 years.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Our applications open and lock one DGN at a time. Locking is otherwise controlled by the operating system.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Are your files stored in a virtualized network environment or synchronised with a remote location? Assuming that a MicroStation based desktop application is involved (You don&amp;#39;t tell us) this sounds like it could be a network or OS matter.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Please let us know which application and version is involved.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
