I know there are variable for dgnlibs and guidgnliblists but my question is there a variable specific to the personal.dgnlib file. We find that some files in the C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Bentley\OpenRoadsDesigner\10.0.0\prefs get corrupt and deleting these files help with 50% of problems we see with ORD. The personal.dgnlib is located here and we would like to keep that file. Is there a variable specific to the personal.dgnlib?
Hi Steve,
There isn't a variable specific to personal.dgnlib as far as I know.
Do the problems you encounter get fixed if on the personal.upf is deleted?
Marc
We set the variable MS_PERSONALDGNLIB in our configuration. I'm currently testing for myself to keep this file in my OneDrive folder and it seems to work for me.
I also set MS_PERSONALDGNLIBSEED. Still in testing but intent is to allow users to have their own saved dgnlib that gets used as a seed when the dgnlib is deleted and if they don't have their own use a corporate one.

Yes, we see speed issues in loading ORD, taking 10 to 15 minutes to open a file, tasks that don't load or are slow to load that are fixed when we delete the C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Bentley\OpenRoadsDesigner\10.0.0\ folders. In fact this came as a recommendation from the Iowa DOT in one of their newsletters.
Thanks Kevin, I will try that.
