Windows 10 Pro, parallel installations of Microstation 7/J, Microstation V8i(SS3), Microstation CE U17.2, Microstation 2023
I would like to set my .DWG files to open with Microstation 2023. When I right-click and select "Open with", I get a choice of Microstation V8i or Microstation Connect. When I say "Choose another app" and select Microstation 2023--Microstation.exe, Windows opens the dwg file with Microstation CE U17.2.
How do I choose Microstation 2023 in the "open with" dialog? Or, How do I set Microstation 2023 to be the default to open .dwg files?

I am just advising that our development team have reported that this issue that was raised in Bug # 1226952 has now been confirmed as resolved in MicroStation 2023.1 which is due to be released very soon.

I found an existing bug regarding this question.Please file a service request mentioning bug 1226952 "Open with MicroStation 2023 is not available for DWG, DXF after side by side install" if this is important to you. This will influence the prioritization of this bug.

FYI, The current version of Bentley View makes this situation even worse. Bentley View 2023 rewrites the the Microstation 2023 registry items, so everything opens in Bentley View and Microstation 2023 is removed from the "Open with" and "default program" list.
If you have [Microstation CE and Bentley View CE] and install both [Microstation 2023 and Bentley View 2023], there is no way that the user can correct the issue. If you are missing one of the programs above, there is a work-around.

I have the same issue with RobertArnold, not have the settings you mentioned up.
