Why are my configuration variables for ProjectWise workspace not saving?

I just had Openroads designer 10.10 and Openroads designer 10.12 installed to my laptop, but my configuration variables changes are not saving. Why?

Hi Paul, you mention ProjectWise workspace in the title above. 
 If you are working with a ProjectWise Managed Workspace you need to contact the ProjectWise admins who look after it to find out what you can or cannot change.
