We are trying to standardize our Microstation V8i configs, so each office is using the same set of support files for plotting, levels, colors, linestyles, etc. With past employers, my workstation was always set to point to the server for files relating to standards. One of our users says this is impossible & all files must be on each local computer, which he says would take up to 2 weeks of work for each new project to set up standards which makes no sense to me. Where can I find correct procedures in BE?
Yes, Bear ... I had attempted to remove my post here in Admin and thought I had done so, but it kept showing back up. My apologies ... My "real" post is as you linked above.
