    Overview

    Navigator Mobile Publisher is Bentley Systems application to convert i.dgn models to dgndb files or mobile imodel files that Navigator Mobile is able to view on  an iPad.  The first release is on January 18, 2013.

     

    What is Navigator Mobile Publisher

    Navigator Mobile Publisher is the stand alone tool used to convert i.dgn files to .dgndb files or to .imodel files that Navigator Mobile is able to use for review.  Navigator Mobile Publisher can also package other files into the dgndb file such as .pdf and .doc files.

     

    Where can I download Navigator Mobile Publisher

    Navigator Mobile Publisher can be downloaded by Bentley Select users from the Fulfillment Center: https://select.bentley.com/FulfillmentCenter/

     

    Does Navigator Mobile Publisher integrate with i-Model Composer

    No.  Navigator Mobile Publisher does not integrate with i-model Composer it is a standalone program.

     

    What do I do if there are errors in my published mobile i-model?

    The .dgndb-issues file for your mobile i-model is stored in the same location as your mobile i-model. It contains issues Navigator Mobile Publisher encountered when publishing your i-model as a mobile i-model. You can send the .dgndb-issues file and the i-model file to Technical Support at connect.bentley.com > New Service Request.

     

    Why am I receiving “Unable to publish” messages from Navigator Mobile Publisher?

    “Unable to publish” displays if the added files are incompatible with Navigator Mobile Publisher.

     

    What do I do if Navigator Mobile Publisher crashes?

    If Navigator Mobile Publisher crashes, send the information to Microsoft. Bentley Systems, Inc. will receive this information as well and will investigate the reason for the crash.

     

    Does Navigator Mobile Publisher  support ProjectWise integration?

    Navigator Mobile Publisher does not support ProjectWise integration at this time.

     

    Can Navigator Mobile Publisher publish DGN files?

    Navigator Mobile Publisher cannot publish DGN files. It can only publish i-models.

     

    Can Navigator Mobile Publisher publish DWG files?

    Navigator Mobile Publisher cannot publish DWG files.

     

    Does Navigator Mobile Publisher support rasters?

    Navigator Mobile Publisher does not support rasters.

     

    Does Navigator Mobile Publisher support Point Clouds?

    Navigator Mobile Publisher does not support Point Clouds.

     

    What operating systems is supported?

    Navigator Mobile Publisher is certified running on: Windows Vista, Windows Vista x64, Windows 7, Windows 7 x64, Windows 8, Windows 8 x64.
