How to start or re-run failed calculations?

Problem:

There can be calculator failures in the “Calculator – Scheduled” widget as shown below;

How to start the failed calculations?

Solution:

The calculator failures occur whenever the service that runs the calculations gets restarted.

If the calculator failures are due to service restart, then there is no need to worry about. Generally, if the calculator fails it should pick up any missed calculations the next time it runs.

If needed Users can execute or re-run the failed calculations manually. Here are steps to execute failed calculations manually;

   1. Select or add the failed calculator points in the selection tool and click on the Calculator Executor icon as shown below;

            

   2. The executor window will open. Any points selected will be in the list. For each calculation, you can see the point details and the calculation formula. At the bottom of the page, there are three options of how you want the calculations to run.

              

   3. Select the appropriate option and click the Calculate button to execute the calculations.
   4. As the calculation execution takes place, a progress bar will be displayed along the bottom and once completed, a summary will appear.
