Problem:

While setting up a new environment for 4D Analytics, User may notice that the URL is showing blank white screen.

Solution:

The Apache Tomcat webserver is one of the components for completing the 4D Analytics installation.

Whereas sometimes Microsoft IIS is also present on the same server where Apache Tomcat is installed and running.

The possible reason for blank white screen while browsing the 4D Analytics webpage is port used. If the same port is used by Tomcat and IIS, then there will be some conflicts.

There are two possible resolutions for this issue;

1. If the IIS is not required on the 4D Analytics server, then turn it off.
2. Try changing the ports used by Tomcat for deploying 4D Analytics website.
