Announcing AssetWise APM v7.4

We are pleased to announce the release of AssetWise APM v7.4, now available for general access on the Bentley Software Fulfillment Center. This enhanced version of Bentley’s asset performance management software strengthens support for risk-based inspections with its certification for API 580, the recognized and generally accepted good engineering practice in the oil and chemical industries, and expanded process safety capabilities.

Highlights:

API 580 Certification – Bentley has been assessed and meets the relevant risk-based requirements of API 580:2009. In addition the product development process was assessed compliant to SIL 1 requirements per IEC 61508 Part 3.

Safety integrity management, HAZOP Studies – APM users can now conduct structured and systematic HAZOP studies on planned or existing processes and operations to identify and evaluate problems that might represent risks to people, assets, the environment/property or the efficiency of the operation.

Certified Integration to EAM – With the integration updated to latest release, AssetWise APM acts as a critical front-end to EAM systems for reliability and integrity management. The APM/SAP integration is now certified on SAP EAM on SAP PI 7.1. Version 7.4 was also successfully tested on IBM Maximo 7.6.
