Announcing AssetWise APM v7.9

We are pleased to announce the release of AssetWise APM v7.9, now available for general access from Bentley Software Downloads. This version of Bentley’s asset reliability software introduces asset condition analysis, the next step beyond prioritization analysis to determine when to repair or replace equipment.

Highlights

  • Asset Condition Analysis (ACA) -- Assess the current state of assets, typically to determine at what intervals assets are to be repaired or replaced. The analysis employs user-defined criteria reflecting your organization’s business goals (for example, availability of parts and software, and frequency and effort of maintenance). ACA is included in the Asset Health application module

  • ACA and Asset Prioritization Analysis -- ACA is aligned with Asset Prioritization Analysis, which determines the relative importance of assets in terms of risk. You can create a condition analysis from within a prioritization analysis. Then view condition values and consequence priority numbers in the asset’s window. And go to the Priority and Condition matrix to see matches for all assets at the site.

  • Invoice templates (EAM product module) – You can now create invoice templates, perfect for regularly recurring expenses such as utility bills.

  • Invoice reversals -- You can reverse invoices that were posted with errors or mistakenly. The process includes reversing liabilities, PO lines, and inventory.

  • Support for UTC --The APM server and database now support Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Date and time data is stored in the database and displayed in some locations as UTC. However, wherever dates and times are displayed in clients, the data is converted to the time zone assigned to the enterprise.
