We just started to use our new samsung tablets. When you upload from the tablet, the checksheet doesn't process automatically. You have to manually process Upload Transactions under mobile computing.
Is the there a setting to process uploaded activities automatically or do we need to set up up a job to run under services like we do to trigger pm's weekly?
It is valuable to note that this is a commonly asked question. There are 2 ways to process checksheets automatically. Firstly, the is an option in the Ivara Configuration tool whereby you can set the Remote computer to Process Transactions immediately, this will make sure that the checksheets are processed as soon as they are uploaded via the Remote, this can lead to significant to long synchronization times when dealing with large checksheets. The second option is to set-up a Remote Transaction Broker to process the Remote Checksheets post upload to the server, this helps to speed synchronization time. Occasionally users forget to turn-off "Process Transactions immediately when setting up the Remote Transaction Broker even when following the guide. For users in older release of APM this Service was named Upload Transaction Broker.
As an addition if using Android or iOS mobile inspections then you must use the remote transaction broker. Process Immediately is not an option for these applications at this time.
