All MAPs have the status : Draft version, and we don't know where this comes from. We can't change it with a mass replace and there seems to be no button to change the status.
I do not recall ever seeing a MAP Plan/Failure Mode status of "Draft". Maintenance action plans start with a status of Facilitation Impcomplete and users can manually mark them to one of the other statuses from Facilitation Complete, to Implementation Complete or Implementation Not Required. This cannot be done using the replace function, if you wish to do this en masse you need to go to a list view of the MAPs and select Mark As > Implementation Complete. This status change can only be made if the business logic allows the status to be changed, ie, if the MAP is a condition based maintenance type, all of the search criteria is filled in and indicators have been linked. Note also, if you are using a multi-selection from a list view to change multiple statuses and the Mark As is greyed-out, you likely have one or more MAPs that aren't yet ready for a status change
Hi Yves, I believe we can see FM draft version when study versioning is enabled on analysis type settings. In this case, we should define what activities are allowed when FM has a draft version or other versions. It is probably not done.
You may decide to disable FM versioning, then you will follow standard FM statuses as Joe described. Draft versions can require approvals before you can continue your analysis.
From my experience, versioning is not required for MTA and RCM analyses. Facilitation/Implementation statuses help to manage analysis process.
Thank you for the reply. This is the status I mean, is there a way to change this on a particular MAP? How to make a failure mode not a draft anymore? Without turning off the versioning.
Hi Yves, you can change status on Details view.
Hi Eugene,
Thank you for that but I mean a different status. Not the study status, but the version status. It is unclear how a MAP receives this status, and also how to change it.
