SMTP Email notifications are not being generated by the APM application server as expected
Error in server log file:
Logged in <USERID>'s APM Employee Record does not have an email address set in the Work Contact Info settings.
To be able to send or receive emails in APM, the Employee record of the logged in User must have an email address set in the Work Contact Info Settings. This applies whether it is the user defined to run Action Scheduler or the user running a client (smart or thick) at the time the email is triggered.
Also, employees representing automation users such as Local system users ($MACHINE)must have an email assigned to their employee profile so that the from variable is not blank when an email is sent via SMTP.
