The download for the remote client is taking around 20-30 minutes. Do you know what things can be checked to help improve the performance?
There is functionality in the current version of APM called the differential download (ver 7.1 onwards) that would greatly reduce the amount of data being sent to the Remote tablets thus speeding up synchronization time. Also, refining filters to reduce the amount of objects also helps to reduce synchronization time because less data needs to be transfered between the remote and the database.
In some cases, such as multi-region deployments, there is lag between the database server and the remote client so some remote clients in different regions may synchronize significantly slower than remote clients in other regions. This lag can only be addressed at the network level by the network administrator however differential download and proper filtering will still greatly reduce synchronization time.
