Updated Settings In Install Database For New User

Problem

When an instance is created with a new database and a new user logs in, it is observed that by default in all the three sites (Install site, Division, Plant) under Reliability settings in Inspection Routes Tab three check boxes for Dynamic Routes Criteria Selections - Trade, Frequency and Operating Conditions are checked.

However, if a child asset is created under any of the sites, those option remains unchecked.

Solution

Having them checked doesn’t cause any harm. They are not used unless the user starts defining Route Assets on the task. The user might not like seeing them checked and can uncheck them on their respective sites.

This update has been done to encourage users to use dynamic route indicators instead of static indicators.

Changes have been made in 7.11 which will allow users to hide the Dynamic or Static Indicators tab
