APM Remote Setup fails to install due to ODBC System DSN not being IvaraRemote

Problem

After packaging and deploying APM Remote, the APM Remote Set-up was run and errored when running script "configure_server_remote". The installation was aborted with "Script failed to Run with Error Code: 1".

Upon investiagtion we determined that we hadn't name the master database ODBC Datasource System DSN as IvaraRemote, instead we called it "710 Remote Master". When we packaged the Remote Client we pointed to the "710 Remote Master" as the datasource but the Remote Installer would always create an ODBC Datasource System DSN called "IvaraRemote".

Solution

We renamed the ODBC datasource on the server to IvaraRemote. We then launched the IvaraRemotePackager again, reopenned the Project and updated the "Database name" to the renamed "IvaraRemote" ODBC datasource. We then reran "Create Installer" and redeployed.

On the tablet, you may need to remove the previous created ODBC System DSN called IvaraRemote before running the newly repackaged APM Remote Setup.

Once the set-up was run it installed without further issue.
