When using "Copy values to" method from a KPI Template or an Indicator Template, user gets an error message stating that the "New Value" attribute is blank.
This has been reported as a bug VSTS #20527 - "When using "Copy value to" on a KPI template, error message indicates "New value" field is blank". This will be considered for a future release.As workaround,the KPIs or Indicators can be updated manually. Another workaround if you have several KPIs or Indicators needing to be updated is to add the attribute that you want to update in the KPI or Indicator configuration then search or filter in the configuration for only the KPI's or Indicators that you wish to update. Next, right-click on the column (attribute) needing update and choose "Replace" and you may be able to change the data in that field. Not all fields are updateable this way but many are. But if you only want to update a couple of KPIs it's better to just manually update them.
