When I select the Asset Sub-type to AC or DC motor, I can't edit the "Power" and the "UOM" fields. I dont have any security Profiles assigned to my user so I know that's not the issue..
The UOM Category was renamed from “Power” to “Active Power”. Simply change the Category name and Category ID back to “Power” and that should resolve the problem. You will need to restart the applications servers after doing this. UOM changes always need a server restart because of how they are loaded by the application.
Out-of-the-box UOMs and categories generally should not be renamed because they can have strange consequences. It is ok to create new categories and add new UOMs with whatever names you’d like but the out-of-the-box ones are used in several places, such as reports, sub-types, dashboards, etc, and should be left as is out-of-the-box.
