When running an SAP Interoperability Dataload the Process Job appears to have failed with a Batch Status of "Failed" even though the Batch Processing Job was actually running and still processing dataloaded SAP FLOCs. This leads the user to constantly try restarting the Process Job or the Windows service.
The Batch Status / Job Process Status does not report correctly, this was reported as VSTS bug 44687 - Dataload Process Jobs status is "Failed" in Process Jobs configuration but Process Job is still running.
The workaround is to go to the Dataloader view > Assets Tab > "Assets for equipment for SAP Interoperability - Pending Processing" Table configuration. Refresh every minute or so and watch the number of records pending continues to reduce. Navigatie to the other "SAPInteroperability..." table configurations on that tab and note that most FLOCs continue to process successfully.Return to the Process Job tab and open the "Failed" status Process Job to the Statistics tab. You will see that the statistics report, properly that the job is still processing.Let the dataloader Process Job run it's course. You should only need to check on progress every couple of hours to ensure that the processing is not hung. Be patient, dataloading SAP Interoperability FLOCs for the first time may take several hours to days to complete for users with a large number of SAP FLOCs.
