Indicator Mass Update ("Copy values to") method fails to copy indicator states with the following failure reason: "The language string cannot be deleted because it is referenced by a(n) User translatable string (ClassID = 30315, Object ID = 150000XXX).".
This is found only in a multi-language deployment when the Indicator State is selected as a translatable attribute.
Reported as a bug VSTS #147243 - "Indicator States Mass Update errors when used in Multi-language deployment". Fixed in release 7.12.1.There is no workaround to the "Copy values to" in a multi-language environment where Indicator State is a translatable attribute. Workaround is for the user to update the states manually, or if the indicators have not yet received readings, the user can just delete the target indicator and use "Copy Indicator" to create a new indicator with the correct states.
