APM Mobile Inspections cannot connect to server

Problem

When user tried to launch APM Mobile Inspections from IOS tablet, the user received an error message saying "Cannot connect to server".

User then reviewed and tested wifi and network security issues internally and tested the Mobile Rest service address from Safari, receiving the following message:

"No HTTP resource was found that matches the request URI 'https://servername-apm-app02.bentley.com/apm/rest'."

Solution

After verifying that the APM Mobile Rest service was running and was accepting connections, it was found that the user name in APM did not have an Employee record attached to it. Once an employee record was created, with the appropriate maintenance group, the user was able to connect APM Mobile Inspections and download checksheets.
