In a multi-site environment, a User enabled the time zone for their UAT environment (in release 7.12.3) but then noticed that daylight saving has been not been reflected for the local time of sites. For example, they have the UK site time zone set to London time zone however end-users see the time of the UK site one hour behind the local time. We tried to restart the service but this didn't help.
It was found that the user had set the Enterprise level, application time-zone to ETC \ GMT time zone. This time zone does not recognize daylight savings time. The user needed to reset their Enterprise application time zone to the proper regional time zone that recognizes daylight savings time. This can be done by obtaining a script to update the time zone in the APM database. Please have the Application Administrator submit a Service Request to APM Support to obtain a copy of the script if you need to update the main time zone for your implementation.
