User had several Obsolete Remote Computers using remote data structures that have no filtering. When the user ran the full Remote Download Package generation, XMLGenConsole, the generation took several additional hours to complete and also resulted in an out-of-memory error on the server .
Care should always be taken with setting up the remote data structures to ensure accurate filtering out of unneeded data. This is typically well maintained at most user sites but occasionally, old data structures from previous releases may still be assigned to mobile computers whose filtering is no longer current, this legacy data can cause large additional download packages to be generated needlessly when running the XMLGenConsole or other custom tools that automatically generate download packages.
For cases were the user no longer uses a particular mobile computer, the Mobile Computer should be me made inactive. To Inactivate a mobile computer in the current APM version either open the mobile computer and use the pulldown menu or find and highlight the mobile computer in the Mobile Computer's tab, right-click on it and select Mark as Inactive.
