Problem Description

User noted that their Susceptibility Questionnaires were returned to a previous iteration unexpectedly after using the environment migration wizard to migrate customizations from a development environment.

Solution

Susceptibility Questionnaires, as with other questionnaires in APM reside on a special layer in APM's database. When additional entries are made to these questionnaires, those changes are actually populated on the customization layer. When the customization layer is migrated those changes are overwritten automatically.

This has been reported as a bug, VSTS#630209.

The workaround is to exercise care when developing new customizations. Users should first take a fresh back-up of the Production environment database and restore it to the Development environment prior starting any customizations. New questionnaires entries or changes to existing entries should be made in the Development environment first and tested prior to being migrated into Production.
