Problem Description

When attempting to change the name of an indicator state on an Indicator Template and push that change to Indicators based on that template via the "Copy to" method, the action appears to loop if any of the Indicators have reading. If enough indicators are involved, the user's smart client server can slow dramatically as the server's CPU spikes.

Solution

This has been reported as VSTS#675972.

The workaround is to manually change the name of the states on the indicators at the same time as the template statue is renamed. You may use the Replace Value method on configuration's column to make this change to several indictors at the same time to make this more.
