Problem Description

User reported that the Android Mobile Inspections application is slow to register entries (keystrokes) in the search field. When data is entered manually into this field each character takes 5 seconds or more to register and display into the field and it appears to slow the application. Performance further reduces if the session is not connecting successfully with Mobile REST service.

Occurs both in APM Mobile Inspections release 1.4 and 2.0 for Android. It has been tested in the IOS app and there was no apparent slowdown.

This has been reported as a bug VSTS#726877.
