Problem Description

An APM user was unable to perform routine tasks post upgrade. For example user was suddenly unable to generate a checksheet from a standard task.

Solution

It was found that the user's personnel profile and security profile were initially created several years ago during initial implementation. Since the creation of this user's personnel profile and security profile several changes to the business objects such as standard tasks, employee records, word order tasks, checksheets, etc have been made but the employee profile and security profile APM had not yet been updated. Updating the security profile and employee profile link with the user to accommodate the changes to APM has resolved the issue.

Users should always review security profiles for obsolescence when upgrade to new releases.
