An APM user has found that APM takes a pipe outside diameter to define the pipe structural minimum thickness. This is a new feature in 7.20 - Structural minimum thickness look-up tables.
The structural minimum thickness should be calculated using the nominal diameter. Outside diameter usually is bigger than nominal diameter and may vary based on manufacturer. Nominal diameter is always the same.
This has reported as a bug, VSTS#1091255 - Wrong attribute used to calculate structural minimum thickness. It has been requested that Outside diameter be replaced in the calculation with the more appropriate Nominal diameter as suggested by the user's experts.
