Problem Description

An APM user was experiencing stale sessions on their QA application services.

Solution

It was found that the user had set the server idle time to 30minutes. Due to infrequent usage in this environment, application services were going idle and stale. It was recommended to set this value to 0 in order to deactivate automated sessions going idle.

The operating parameters and performance of APM have been changed in recent releases and this functionality is now obsolete. A bug has been created to remove it as an option in a future release..
