Problem

A Secondary Hierarchy (Reliability Hierarchy) was not displaying the complete asset structure. A review of the problem indicated that the Hierarchy Relator Table could have been corrupted. 

Solution

On the Enterprise level, Tools menu, the Hierarchy Relator table was regenerated. The user was then able to view the lower-level assets within the hierarchy.

Note:

- If it is determined that the Hierarchy Relator Table needs to be regenerated, it should be done during an outage. 

- All APM Services need to be shutdown and all Users should exit APM, and no database backups should be in progress or be taken until this process is completed.

- The Hierarchy Relator Table regeneration can take several hours to complete if SmartClient or APM Services are running.
