Problem Description

An APM user reported that the QR code scan from APM Mobile Inspections photo button does not push data into APM Mobile release 2.6 with IOS release 13, 14, 15 & 17. In previous release of APM Mobile Inspections running on IOS release 12, the QR code scan can push data into the APM Mobile Inspections search bar.

Solution

In earlier versions of APM Mobile Inspections on IOS, the QR code scan inputting data into the APM search was not an inherent function. A workaround was applied that added QR Scan functionality to the APM Mobile Inspections photo button but in newer versions of IOS this does not work. This is a known issue and will be repaired in the coming Q1 2024 release of APM Mobile Inspections.

The workaround is to copy and paste from the Camera QR scan into the search bar manually.
