Smart Client service restarting frequently exiting all the users

Problem:

Users were frequently getting kicked out of the smart client due to service restart.

Solution:

There were two main issues which resulted into this behaviour.

The indicator readings were getting auto acknowledged based on the older work document. Since ‘ack with work order’ is no longer an option in interop, these readings were triggering transaction roll-backs every time the system attempted to process them. These roll-back transactions were recorded multiple times in the log files consuming more number of resources.

Further, there were too many indicators having invalid odc tag which also resulted in the excessive logs generation resulting into resource consumption.

The issue got resolved after fixing the above two issues.
