About BECS Scheduler 

BECS Scheduler listener awaits messages in defined queues (Azure, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, MSMQ, Folder). After message receive, BECS Scheduler listener reads contents, checks whether the message meets defined conditions, reads required information and in case of successful processing sends command to predefined MSMQ, dedicated to BECS Server.

 

BECS Scheduler consists of BECS Scheduler Service and BECS Scheduler Management. BECS Scheduler service is installed as a Windows Service. Configuration of BECS Scheduler is done in BECS Scheduler Management. You can find the setup of BECS Scheduler Service for listening on Queue/Folder/Sap IDoc and its usage for execution of integration projects on BECS Server here (BECS Scheduler documentation download).

Different types of Queues

BECS Scheduler can work with different types of queues:

• Azure Listener
• RabbitMQ Listener
• SAP iDOC Listener
• ActiveMQ Listener
• MSMQ Listener
• Folder Listener

BECS Scheduler prerequisites

BECS Scheduler Service requires:

• BECS Server version 5.5 or higher (local or remote)
• MS SQL Server (local or remote instance)
• .NET Framework 4.7.1
• MSMQ (local or remote)

BECS Scheduler Management:

• .NET Framework 4.7.1
• MS SQL Server (same instance used as in Scheduler Service)
