When I create a markup and save it in Brava should I be able to see the name of the markup in the eB web client under the Files icon Action --->Files--->Markup Layers?
If so then my eB client cant reference the markup layers created in Brava (any ideas?) I am using ADMIN account and can annotate no problem.
Or is it supposed to only work when you publish the file from Brava and you associate the new file with the markup (hope not)

My understanding is that the Layers can be seen from Brava Viewer, but I am checking with my colleagues to if they can be seen by client.
In your second sentence, when you say "eB client cant reference" , are you refering to eB Web client too ?

Yes , when I say eB client I only mean eB web client.
If I understand you correctly I should be able to see in Brava the markup layers created in eB?

one of my colleagues confirmed that you should be able to see the markups in the Markup Manager which is accessed as you described by selecting Action--->Files--->Markup Layers
which version of eB (and hotfix if applied) and Brava are you using?
My understanding is that from Brava interface, if you open Markup layer list you should see the Markups created in eB.
Do you have the issue viewing Markups with any user account? can you see and create them oK with ADMIN login?

We are on 15.6 hotfix 351
Im using the ADMIN account and can make markups in Brava no porblem.
So we have a problem then in that from Brava I cannot see the markups made in eB. Also markups made in Brava are not visible to the eB web client when doing Action--->Files--->Markup Layers
What do you suggest?

The attached screenshot is what I see when I do Action--->Files--->Markup Layers from my client. This is logged as ADMIN. Notice the names of the last two Markup layers. I created them one in eB, one in BRava, and I can see both from either Brava or eBWeb.
You do not see any of your layers when you login as ADMIN? Do you get any error or just the empty layer manager page?
I am using 15.6.1, but with HF354.
If the MKUPs work with ADMIN, but not with specific user, check if the users has permissions to view/access File Copies. Markups in eB are internaly file Copies, so you need Copy access to see them.
Pretty much as you describe, I cant see any of the markups in eB or eB created ones in Brava.
As ADMIN I can create new markups in Brava but they are not visible in eB web client like yours are.
