I wanted to change/amend an approved document number on eB web. After I've changed the document status to 'Not Approved', the error shows "The Document that you are changing forms part of a Document History" when I'm trying to amend the document number. Please assist.

Hi Adzrai, Yes, You cannot change the number o the original document when you already created its revision. If you want to amend the Document Number then you can use the Copy function and change the number from Original Document and it will give you another document with the same relationships and properties. But if you still want to change the original Document Number, then you have to delete its revision and then Unapprove it and try to change the Number.

Our users have done several times the Copy function & they're mentioning that the new copied document is not copying the Work Order from the original document. They've to Add it back the Work Order from the Edit section every time.
I've tested myself & even though the Work Order box been ticked on Copy document dialog box, it is still not copied to the new copied.
