XML Schema Guide for eB Web

Thank you for the reference to the Office Merge Guide. Is this the same guide that is referenced in the Administrator's guide? The admin guide says this:

Document Creation
For details on the use of the document creation process, refer to the XML Schema User guide and Office Merge Documentation.

For this reason I was given the impression that there is more than one piece of documentation, the Office Merge guide and then another. Also, is it possible to use XML to create 'smart files?' I want a user to be able to drag and drop a file into eB and based on the values in the file or properties of the file, the correct Template is used to create a Document object and the Document's properties/attributes are filled out.

Any information is greatly appreciated!
