Need to delete lots of documents with relationships in eB

Hello,

We need to delete over 100,000 documents in our system.  Many of these documents have relationships such as project relationships.  What is the best way to delete.  These are in all types of statuses, (approved / not approved) and most are non-CC. 

Should we run a database script to delete?  If so, are there any dependencies on the relationships prior to deletion?
