Missing plus sign for VIG in Folders with Auto Filling Rules

Hi all, 
 A customer has reported a new issue in eB v15.4.1. The plus sign is not active for VIG that has a VIs structure when they are listed in a Folder with Auto Filling Rules. But after the user clicks the inactive little box sign (like a minus sign), the structure shows up and the sign begin to work accordingly. 
 Is there any way to fix this?

This issue has been reported it as a defect which has been approved by BSW but the code change request is awaiting a relevant project to be assigned to.
