I Have found this, that maybe it´s a bug.
I´m Using eB 15.6.1 with Oracle 11, on windows 2008 R2 Server.
When I set up Layout editor to make "Date Effective" mandatory and then tried to create a new document from template, if I fill the Title but I leave "Date Effective" blank, the following error appears.
Then I press "OK", fill the Mandatory attribute and I press "Save and Close". Then you can see that the title resets to the template title value once saved....
